This week is special. Because for the next four days Anna Keeler’s set of five poems called “‘And then I saw the lamb of God’ and Other Revelations” will gift the pages of our fine literary blog. Today’s installment is called, “Black.” Check back tomorrow for the next poem in the set.

I know It’s been a couple days since we’ve put a poem up, but I’d rather put nothing up then post a poem that isn’t up to our quality standards. For that reason, some days we may skip, but due to the increased volume of submissions, I doubt it will happen often.

Today’s poem is a wonderful prose poem called “Whimper,” written by Trish Hopkinson in response to “Howl” immortalized by Allen Ginsberg. Trish and Allen both are beat legends in their own right.

I’ve been pretty excited about publishing today’s poem, “Her Mind Amiss, Matched,” by Hodge Woodroffe, a native Englishman, and gifted wordsmith. We’ve been receiving a bunch of submissions that I can’t wait to show you guys. The last two poems have been posted around 8 A.M, tomorrows, and forever afters will be put up around 7 P.M.

We’re up! Our first poem has been posted, an excellent piece called, “Unnamed Poem #1” by Jacob Sherman. He’s been a constant source of inspiration for me, and a constant companion through this downward spiral. Check back tomorrow at 8 a.m for another poem.
